Fabrication Technician

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, bevel, groove, and weld specialized pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, thermoplastic, and PVC
• Set up machines precisely and verify measurements to tight tolerances
• Read blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to ensure accuracy
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and mechanical lifting equipment safely
• Perform daily equipment inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Use RF devices to locate, move, and stage material efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Requirements

• Hands-on machine operation experience (pipe cutting or threading preferred)
• Experience operating forklifts or other Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with welding or pipe end finishing
• Trade school or military background
