Fabrication Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 8-10 individuals, providing training, coaching, and mentoring
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards
• Manage team workload to align with production deadlines
• Review timesheets and assist with timekeeping app direction
• Lay out and examine metal stock to ensure specifications are met
• Set up and operate specialized equipment for stainless sheet metal fabrication
• Study shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
• Perform quality checklist oversight and equipment maintenance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in Fabrication
• At least 1 year as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Forklift Certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment and all weather conditions
