About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on building fabric elements including doors, windows, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and roofing
- Perform minor carpentry, basic plumbing, plastering, painting, and general handyman tasks
- Complete statutory checks and fabric condition surveys, reporting findings accurately via digital systems
- Act as the first point of contact to make safe and repair issues to ensure continuous operational availability
- Liaise with subcontractors and the contract team to ensure all work meets required health and safety standards
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in fabric repairs and maintenance
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or equivalent
- A clean driving licence and comfort working across multiple sites
- Digital literacy and confidence using tablets/digital systems to record work tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
