Fab Support Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to mitigate equipment downtime
• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify issues with manufacturing equipment
• Disassemble, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment based on blueprints, manuals, or technical drawings
• Collaborate with engineering teams to facilitate successful process improvements
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize production efficiency
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required
• Adhere rigorously to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

• Proficient understanding of AC/DC and digital electronics circuits, including foundational knowledge of electricity
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), including night shifts
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field or progress toward a STEM-related degree
• Equivalent military training or pertinent technical work experience
• Practical proficiency in mechatronics, robotics, or electrical power and machinery
• Prior experience in the semiconductor industry
• Automotive ASE Certifications
