About the role
Responsibilities
- Design engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, and integrated circuitry.
- Develop and implement parameters and test plans to debug defective hardware, electronic units, and process steps.
- Create validation plans for tolerances, form/fit/function, reliability, and thermal generation.
- Implement hardware stack remediations and maintain thorough procedural records and data logs.
- Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design.
- Provide technical support for deviation requests, material authorizations, and supplier quotations.
- Contribute to the development of reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for complex products.
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of work experience in process sustaining, design, or a related field.
- Proficiency with C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience with MATLAB and hardware architecture.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with new product development and systems design.
- Knowledge of printed circuit boards, schematic capture, and simulations.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes.
