FAB Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements to enable aggressive yield curves and optimize tool matching.
• Work with the Process Hazard Analysis team to provide by-product characterizations and participate in Hazard and Operability Studies.
• Identify and reduce chamber/tool mismatches and ensure process alignment across product life cycles.
• Implement TPM CIPs and continuously improve FD strategies, SPC metrics, and R2R.
• Create and maintain step-level FMEA and utilize ECN/GCP processes to document changes.
• Optimize processes to reduce costs of gases, chemicals, and consumables.
• Support FOAK tool releases and manage the life extension of consumables.
• Collaborate with vendors on equipment and process continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members within the area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field).
• 3 years of related experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Strong knowledge of Device Theory or Semiconductor Manufacturing.
• Proficiency in data analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Design of Experiments (DOE) concepts.
• Experience with material properties and characterization.
• Proven ability to create technical documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Hands-on experience with single wafer clean tools and wet bench clean tools, including process or recipe development.
