FAA Test Technician - Level 2

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed testing and evaluation of aircraft systems and components to verify compliance with specifications and safety standards
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot technical issues encountered during testing procedures
• Collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to support product development and continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records of test results and provide timely feedback to stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during testing activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in test technician roles within the aerospace or related industries
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and equipment used for aircraft systems and components
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software relevant to aerospace testing environments
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field
• Experience working in aerospace manufacturing or testing environments
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance processes in aerospace
• Knowledge of data acquisition systems and test automation tools
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
