FAA ISC Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed testing and analysis of aerospace components and systems to verify functionality and compliance with specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during testing phases
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test procedures and enhance product quality
• Document test results accurately and maintain test equipment in optimal condition
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace testing or a related technical field
• Strong knowledge of aerospace test equipment and procedures
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex aerospace systems and identifying root causes of failures
• Experience with test data acquisition systems and software tools
• Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Aerospace Technology, or a related technical discipline
• Experience with automated test systems and scripting languages
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
