About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Set up, maintain, and break down cook stations efficiently
- Perform food preparation tasks including washing, peeling, cutting, and grinding meats, poultry, and seafood
- Prepare soups, sauces, dressings, and garnishments
- Utilize proper cooking methods such as frying, sautéing, broiling, roasting, and steaming
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Manage food storage using the FIFO (First In, First Out) system and monitoring temperature requirements
- Assist with dishwashing and kitchen organization as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in the service industry
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Basic math skills for measuring and weighing ingredients
- Knowledge of proper kitchen equipment and food safety procedures
- Understanding of the FIFO rotation system
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Ability to obtain a gaming license in accordance with regulatory commissions
