F-22 Low Observable Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft coatings and associated equipment
• Perform maintenance, repair, and sustainment upgrades on F-22 systems and structures
• Troubleshoot aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems
• Utilize technical orders, blueprints, and drawings to perform maintenance on electrical and mechanical subsystems
• Apply system theory to solve moderate to complex technical problems

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with F-22 Low Observable Coatings
• Knowledge of low observable processes
• Experience with aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and part replacement
• Proficiency with aircraft unique tools including test equipment, torque wrenches, and micrometers
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
• Willingness to work variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Experience repairing and servicing military fighter aircraft such as F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, or F-35
• Experience drilling, cutting, and fabricating aircraft structural components
