F-15 Radar Depot Server Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer IT systems in a mixed Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, and integration issues in a fast-paced team setting
• Manage and maintain virtualized environments
• Support Windows Server or Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication
• Work with hardware RAID, encryption tools, and server management utilities
• Perform data backup and restore activities following best practices
• Install and configure software applications for end users
• Partner with Cybersecurity to maintain required security standards and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals
• CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent baseline certification (DoDD 8140 / 8570 compliant)
• Hands-on experience administering Windows or Linux systems in an enterprise environment
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Advanced degree in a STEM field
• Experience with virtualization and enterprise backup/recovery tools
• Experience with workstation deployment, data migration, and cloning techniques
• Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and core network services
