About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and update F-15 maintenance publications for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers and USAF models
- Interpret engineering sources to create technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems
- Analyze and collect system support technical data to provide recommendations on product supportability
- Establish operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems for multiple equipment subsystems
- Identify logistics support candidates and develop analysis records and reports
- Determine spares provisioning requirements for replacement parts and stocking levels
- Review and evaluate aircraft fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with defense systems and platforms
- 3+ years of experience in at least two of the following: Avionics, Hydro Mechanical, Mechanisms, Radar, Sensors, or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
- 1+ years of experience reading engineering drawings or blueprints
- 1+ years of experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro for manipulating and editing PDF files
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Fort Walton Beach, FL
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with Publication Authoring
- Knowledge of Egress (ACES 5)
- Knowledge of engine and cooling systems (ECS, Pratt & Whitney, or General Electric)
- Familiarity with Aircraft Performance Group (APG) tasks such as towing, lifting, and jacking
- Knowledge of Electrical Systems (Fire, Ice, Oxygen), Fuel, Hydraulic Systems, or Landing Gear
