EYFS Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support identified children in 1:1, group, or whole class situations to ensure safety and access to learning
• Assist in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work, and teaching strategies
• Work closely with teachers to ensure provision supports each child's specific learning needs
• Assist in evaluating children's progress through agreed assessment activities
• Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers regarding children's achievement and progress
• Lead small group sessions and interventions as appropriate

Requirements

• Qualifications to degree level or equivalent
• Experience working directly with young people in an education or training environment
• Experience establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage and take responsibility for your own workload
