EYFS & KS1 Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of EYFS and KS1 year groups, including behaviour management.
• Line manage and performance manage teachers and support staff within your year groups.
• Oversee the deployment and performance of support staff and manage devolved budgets.
• Organise the transition of children into and out of your year groups.
• Plan, teach, and assess work in accordance with school policies, setting challenging targets for all children.
• Create a stimulating, orderly, and safe learning environment.
• Act as a figurehead and spokesperson for your year group at academy and public events.
• Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers through formal and informal reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within an all-through primary school setting.
• Outstanding behaviour management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to line manage and lead staff effectively.
• A strong commitment to pupil outcomes and securing positive results for children.
• High levels of drive, energy, and integrity.
• Resilience and the ability to make a positive contribution to school improvement.
