About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of the Breakfast & After School Club
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
- Plan and deliver fun, creative and engaging activities
- Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and safeguarding at all times
- Supervise, support and inspire club staff
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and school staff
- Complete planning, registers, administration and other club documentation
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety and all relevant policies and procedures
Requirements
- Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (EYFS)
- Experience working with children in an Early Years or childcare setting
- Previous supervisory or management experience (desirable)
- Good understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and child development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
