EyeCare Advisor

Responsibilities

• Deliver the LensCrafters Experience by providing exceptional optometric care and retail service
• Greet customers promptly and handle telephone inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
• Explain required paperwork, medical tests, products, and services to patients
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their vision, lifestyle, and budget
• Operate POS systems to accurately process payments, insurance, and prescriptions
• Maintain organized patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Manage contact lens inventory, including disinfection and clinical support for the Optometrist
• Ensure the store appearance meets company visual display guidelines

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Ability to solve problems and handle difficult customer situations with patience
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and basic math
• Strong organizational and sales skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or an optical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
