EyeCare Advisor

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and answer telephone inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
• Explain required paperwork, optometric tests, products, and services to patients
• Perform pre-examination testing with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their vision, lifestyle, and budget
• Operate POS systems to process payments, insurance, and contact lens orders accurately
• Maintain organized patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Support the clinical team by providing guidance on contact lens care and handling inventory
• Ensure the store appearance meets company visual display guidelines

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Ability to solve problems and handle difficult customer situations with patience
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and basic math
• Strong organizational and sales skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or an optical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
