Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide exceptional service to deliver the LensCrafters Experience
• Explain required paperwork, optometric tests, products, and services to patients
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their vision, lifestyle, and budget
• Manage patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Operate the POS system to process payments, insurance, and contact lens orders
• Maintain contact lens inventory, including disinfection and clinical support for the Optometrist
• Ensure the store appearance meets company visual display guidelines

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Ability to solve problems and handle difficult customer situations with patience
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and basic math
• Strong organizational and sales skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or an optical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
