About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment following 5S standards
- Execute extrusion line changeovers using lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Perform die and calibrator cleaning, inspection, and preparation
- Support extrusion line startups and monitor equipment performance
- Assist operators with production troubleshooting and process support
- Communicate equipment status and production priorities during shift handoffs
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Experience with production equipment and changeovers
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of LOTO and 5S safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Extrusion experience
- Vinyl (PVC) and plastics extrusion experience
