Extrusion Operator I

Responsibilities

• Assist the Extrusion Operator in operating, loading, and servicing various types of extruding machinery
• Lift and position raw materials manually or using PIT equipment
• Perform autonomous maintenance and assist in repairing or replacing machine parts
• Mount and position pelletizer heads using hand tools
• Blend, extrude, and size plastic pellets
• Set and adjust machine controls based on specific requirements
• Feed materials through machines and perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations

Requirements

• Ability to be forklift certified
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to stand, crouch, and bend for extended periods
• Basic math and basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-year of experience as a machine operator
