Extrusion Operator

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority and follow all rules and procedures
• Perform quality checks including cut length, surface, and finseal
• Stack and pack vinyl lineals according to drawings and paperwork
• Assist operators with extrusion line setups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• Adhere to housekeeping standards daily
• Support SimEx Rigid Operators in safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping

Requirements

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32"
• Ability to lift 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below waist
• Proficiency in basic math including fractions and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret statistical data and written instructions
• Capable of using computerized equipment
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for long periods
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
