Extrusion Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations by responding to maintenance calls and completing simple repairs
• Troubleshoot equipment in a timely manner
• Learn and support manufacturing equipment recipe changes and control adjustments
• Maintain and adjust basic drive train and power train components
• Perform mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks
• Start up and shut down equipment per established procedures
• Enter work completed in computer-based maintenance program
• Monitor and report spare parts usage

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits
• Familiarity with electrical measurement devices like voltage meters and micrometers
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Ability to travel for training sessions

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a related field
• Experience with metal fabrication and welding
