About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
- Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments
- Repair and maintain mechanical machine components
- Perform mechanical preventive maintenance tasks
- Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and photo eyes
- Troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs
- Track usage of and order replacement parts
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
- Intermediate understanding of electrical principles (voltage, current, resistance)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work regular standby assignments and emergency overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to assist in training Level I Technicians
