About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned job duties to ensure production and quality standards for various tire components
- Operate and monitor equipment including extruders, mills, and calendars
- Coordinate with operators to ensure proper setup and production
- Monitor online and offline quality systems to meet specifications
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and plant safety policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
- Use hand tools and measuring devices to monitor product quality
- Accurately record production data, rates, and units produced
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of Work Keys Assessment (SILVER)
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and pushing
