Extrusion Associate I

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion lines and related equipment according to established procedures and process parameters
• Assist with equipment setup, start-up, and changeovers under guidance
• Prepare materials for production, including operating mills and handling materials per procedures
• Perform basic in-process inspections using calibrated tools like calipers to verify product specifications
• Monitor equipment performance and report any deviations, quality issues, or concerns
• Accurately complete production records, including batch and inspection documentation, following GMP standards
• Support cleaning, line clearance, and housekeeping to maintain compliance and readiness
• Follow all SOPs, safety, and quality requirements, including cleanroom standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and participate in continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Reliable transportation (location is not accessible by public transit)
• Ability to work in a manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment
