Extruder Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform proper start-up and shutdown operations for production lines
• Complete process check sheets every two hours and correct process issues
• Change screen packs for all extruders
• Update hour-by-hour boards with production data and maintenance issues
• Troubleshoot quality issues to ensure first-quality rolls and hems
• Fill silos with raw material and operate ESTL machines for quality checks
• Operate a forklift to move products as needed
• Maintain a clean work area following 6S processes

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to perform Winder Operator II and Extruder Operator I & II skills
• Ability to walk up and down stairs to lace the line
• Ability to operate a forklift
