About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion machines in a work cell to produce required parts
- Analyze production data and make necessary machine adjustments
- Complete documentation including process checks and quality checks
- Evaluate part conformance against engineering requirements
- Set up and start up profile tooling for machine models
- Troubleshoot advanced problems and escalate to technicians or engineering
- Train new Extruder Operators
- Participate in 5S activities and Kaizen events
- Perform basic maintenance tasks as necessary
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer skills including Windows and keyboarding
- Previous equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills
