Extractable and Leachable Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of analysts in the E&L team to meet financial goals
• Supervise day-to-day laboratory operations and project scheduling
• Write and review protocols and reports for E&L studies
• Train analysts on technical methods and techniques
• Operate and maintain GC-MS, UPLC-MS, and ICP-MS instruments
• Serve as a technical expert in study designs and data analysis
• Manage laboratory inventory and supplies
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and GLP regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (analytical chemistry preferred)
• 3-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in FDA regulated labs (GMP/GLP/GDP)
• 3 years of Extractable and Leachables (E&L) project experience
• 1 year of protocol and report writing experience
• 5 years of hands-on experience with GC-MS, UPLC-MS, and/or ICP-MS
• Expertise in structure elucidation of unknown compounds
