About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent Potomac and distribute all products and services within the assigned territory
- Travel within the territory to conduct 1:1 and group face-to-face meetings and presentations
- Partner with an internal wholesaler to develop a business plan and manage the territory to meet and exceed regional sales goals
- Identify advisor needs through a consultative sales process and provide tailored investment solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
- Manage administrative responsibilities including CRM updates, travel, and expenses
Requirements
- SIE, Series 7, and either 63 & 65 or 66 licenses
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an external wholesaler selling mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, or VAs
- Or 3 years of experience as a top internal wholesaler with existing relationships in the territory
- Demonstrated ability to make successful and dynamic sales presentations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
