External Stakeholder Lead - Senior

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement and coordination with external stakeholders, partners, policy-focused organizations, and advocacy groups
• Serve as the primary coordination point for external stakeholder engagement to ensure continuity and alignment
• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans aligned with MC&FP priorities and brand reputation
• Build and manage relationships with national, regional, state, and local organizations
• Represent MC&FP in stakeholder meetings, coalition forums, and working groups
• Capture, assess, and analyze external feedback to inform messaging and reputational risk management
• Draft and review stakeholder materials, briefings, talking points, and engagement summaries
• Lead stakeholder mapping and influence analysis for legislative and regulatory priorities
• Monitor public policy trends and recommend engagement or crisis response strategies
• Coordinate internal working groups with government affairs, legal, and communications teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, or government affairs
• 5+ years of leadership experience with government, policy, or advocacy organizations
• DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Strong knowledge of strategic communications and public policy
• Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with external partners
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for executive-level audiences
• Ability to manage sensitive policy concerns and reputational risks

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA in Public Administration, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field
• Experience working within large corporations, policy organizations, or mission-focused public-sector programs
• Familiarity with federal regulatory and legislative environments
