External Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Purchase scrap metal to meet tonnage targets and optimize profit margins
• Visit dealerships and industrial suppliers to generate new and repeat business
• Prospect new customers through door-to-door visits and phone outreach
• Develop networks to track market trends and buy/sell pricing
• Negotiate new client contracts and perform P&L analysis
• Coordinate with administrative and commercial teams for accurate documentation
• Provide pricing recommendations for AIM-operated sites
• Coach and support team members

Requirements

• College diploma in Business, Sales, or Marketing
• 1+ year of experience in the recycling industry (ferrous and non-ferrous metals preferred)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to travel across the assigned territory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong negotiation, math, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingualism (French/English) is a major asset

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of metal alloy identification
• Experience with CRM systems
• Leadership experience
