External Partnership Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the pharmaceutical external partnership marketing strategy for the Sudan market based on local market dynamics.
• Manage the outsourcing portfolio, including segmentation, positioning, and targeting of each brand.
• Drive business growth through regular assessment of portfolio lifecycle management (LCM) based on financial and market attractiveness.
• Execute comprehensive digital HCP engagement strategies and manage marketing campaigns for outsourcing brands.
• Oversee P&L objectives, including sales, profitability, and GM% improvement initiatives.
• Conduct thorough market analysis using IQVIA data to identify trends and strategic business opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Medical, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related scientific/business field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in Brand Management, Marketing, or Business Unit Management.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L ownership and driving business results.
• Proficiency with market data analytics tools, specifically IQVIA.
• Experience managing external partnerships, licensing, or outsourcing portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business Management.
• Experience in emerging markets, specifically Sudan or similar African/Middle East markets.
• Strong background in portfolio lifecycle management (LCM) and pricing strategy.
