External Communications Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead Suno’s corporate communications strategy, focusing on business momentum and growth.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, legal, and policy to advance business goals.
• Shape narratives that resonate with the media, artists, creators, policymakers, and investors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier business, technology, music, and entertainment media.
• Lead cross-functional product launch communications and coordinate messaging across departments.
• Own multi-channel content creation, including blog posts, executive speeches, opinion pieces, and videos.
• Elevate Suno’s leadership team and support them in all external-facing communications.
• Deftly manage sensitive, high-profile issues and crisis communications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, and policy communications.
• Proven experience working in-house at high-growth tech or culturally relevant companies.
• Strong existing relationships across technology, business, culture, and policy press.
• Exceptional writing, messaging, and storytelling skills.
• Significant experience advising senior executives and leadership teams.
• Experience managing sensitive communications and crisis management.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives.
• A builder mindset with the ability to operate in fast-moving environments.
