Exterminator L-II

Responsibilities

• Inspect premises and investigate complaints of infestation
• Determine appropriate extermination or pest prevention methods
• Supervise exterminators engaged in using traps, rodenticides, and stoppage equipment
• Order necessary supplies and ensure safe storage of poisons
• Supervise the preparation of various exterminating substances
• Maintain records of exterminating operations and submit reports
• Supervise Burrow RX and dry ice treatments
• Test new innovative rodent control measures such as sensors and CO2 machines
• Perform exterminating and stoppage duties as required

Requirements

• Valid Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator certificate (7A) for Industrial, Institutional, structural and Rodent Control
• Valid New York State Motor Vehicle Driver License
• Two years of full-time practical experience in the preparation and use of insecticides, rodenticides, baits, and traps

• Highly organized with ability to work in teams
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with computers
