Exterminator

Responsibilities

• Inspect premises and investigate complaints of infestation
• Determine appropriate methods of extermination and pest prevention
• Supervise and bait areas according to protocol
• Make assignments to exterminators regarding traps, rodenticides, and equipment
• Assist with ordering supplies and ensuring safe storage of poisons
• Supervise the preparation of exterminating substances
• Keep records of exterminating operations and prepare reports
• Coordinate follow-up treatment and stoppage efforts

Requirements

• Valid Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator certificate (7A) from NYS DEC
• Valid New York State Motor Vehicle Driver License
• Two years of full-time practical experience in pest extermination for Level II
• Highly organized with strong teamwork abilities
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with computers
