Extended Learning Assistant Director

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, and lead the Extended Day program for students in grades PS-8
• Design inclusive environments centered on student agency and restorative practices
• Supervise students and provide leadership in behavior support using a restorative framework
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff
• Maintain compliance with State of Oregon Child Care Rules
• Develop and maintain a diverse portfolio of extended day classes for grades K-8
• Manage schedules and documentation for the tutoring program
• Provide front desk support for the Lower School, including answering phones and assisting students

Requirements

• BA or BS from an accredited college, preferably in education, child development, or recreation
• At least one year of experience leading a school-age (K-8) children's program
• Ability to qualify at least step 9 in the Oregon Registry
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer skills
