Export Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface between GM markets and SGMW to develop portfolio opportunities and oversee program development.
• Develop and implement business strategies within the JV organization, including SUP/SKD/CKD business models with third-party partners.
• Conduct market fact-base analysis and competitor intelligence to identify new portfolio opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-geographical teams, including engineering, design, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure successful program delivery.
• Manage program timing, identify critical milestones, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor GM China export operation targets and communicate program status to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive industry program management, specifically in product planning, marketing, or development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and cross-country teams within a joint venture environment.
• Fluency in both Chinese and English (oral and written) to lead discussions with Chinese partners and global GM stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of automotive products, engineering processes, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently, make quick decisions, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Direct experience in Business Development.
