Export Control Projects & Solutions Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Export Control projects and oversee the development of digital business applications to ensure compliance.
• Act as the lead for the Global Export Control System (GECS) Programme to develop business applications across different divisions.
• Formalize business requirements for target digital solutions and manage the full product lifecycle from design to retirement.
• Oversee a team of technical professionals to establish data security, processes, and appropriate technology use.
• Ensure compliance for Transport & Logistics Providers by coordinating supply chain actions and negotiating procurement clauses.
• Conduct due diligence and site visits to identify "red flags" and assess the impact of supplier rebranding on export licenses.
• Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for digital solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including people management of technical teams.
• 3-5 years of experience in Export Controls, including dual-use software and technical data transfers.
• Deep understanding of ITAR/EAR requirements and classification.
• Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum (SAFe) and lean processes.
• Strong proficiency in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
• Ability to simplify complex legal or technical requirements for diverse stakeholder groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as PMP, PM Bronze, or SAFe Programme Consultant.
• Expertise in Software Requirement and Change Management and Product Lifecycle Management.
• Knowledge of key functions including Procurement, Transport & Logistics, Engineering, and Customs.
