Export Administrator

Responsibilities

• Process orders and backorders for branches and distribution partners in the EU and worldwide
• Coordinate and monitor orders from entry to shipment to ensure timely delivery
• Organize transport with logistics partners, including freight forwarders and courier services
• Create shipping and customs documentation for sea, air, road, and courier shipments
• Maintain regular communication with logistics, procurement, and sales departments
• Handle administrative correspondence within an international environment
• Identify and implement optimization opportunities in order and export processing

Requirements

• Commercial apprenticeship with further training in export or foreign trade
• Proven experience in a comparable role involving international shipping
• Strong knowledge of shipping and customs documentation across various transport modes
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and maintain oversight of multiple parallel tasks
• Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is an advantage
• Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented personality with strong teamwork skills
