About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure each dish is properly expedited with accuracy, professionalism, and proper plating
- Meticulously examine dishes for completeness and order accuracy
- Manage incoming tickets and communicate with the line to ensure speed of service
- Coordinate Food Runners to ensure food leaves the kitchen in a timely manner
- Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety codes and guidelines
- Maintain organization of storage areas and ensure a clean work environment
- Help maintain food costs by decreasing waste
- Complete all opening, closing, and side duties as instructed
Requirements
- High-end/Fine Dining culinary experience in a hospitality environment
- Prior kitchen operations experience
- Proficient knowledge of kitchen operations
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects in excess of 40 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
