Responsibilities

• Provide personalized front-desk service to guests, ensuring satisfaction according to STAR Service Standards
• Manage embarkation and registration processes, including check-in and document collection
• Promote, sell, and dispatch shore excursions, including escorting guests to monitor tour quality
• Handle financial transactions, including maintaining a cash float, collecting payments, and foreign currency exchange
• Perform concierge duties such as booking onboard restaurants and shore activities
• Resolve guest concerns and maintain detailed interaction logs in the feedback tool
• Manage lost and found inventory and prepare guest lists and special orders

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of front-of-house experience in a premium brand hotel or resort
• Fluency in both Japanese and English (excellent oral and written communication skills)
• Proficiency with PC-based databases, spreadsheets, and word processing systems
• Proven experience in cash handling and foreign currency exchange
• Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and grace
• Ability to work independently and as a committed team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous shipboard experience
• Proficiency in additional languages
