Expert Spin Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized hot spinning forming equipment to roll flanges on disks and dished heads
• Set up machines for operation by lifting and centering workpieces into fixtures on turntables
• Adjust for thickness and curvature of metal before setting bending pressure
• Read blueprints and job cards to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Operate overhead cranes to load and unload material
• Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate records
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

• Previous experience operating Birdsboro hot spinning equipment
• Experience operating overhead cranes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proven ability to safely and efficiently perform all essential job functions
• Ability to complete required documentation and job cards

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience operating flanging machines
