Expert Scientific Writer

Responsibilities

• Create complex and specialized medical and scientific content, including slide decks, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
• Manage end-to-end publication and medical education content development processes, including documentation and approval in systems like PromoMats/iEnvision.
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned therapeutic areas, providing strategic support to individuals and institutions.
• Conduct comprehensive publication-need analyses and implement annual publication plans for specific regions.
• Coach and review content created by senior and junior scientific writers to ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with regional scientific communication teams and medical departments to identify needs and deliver customized content.
• Work with selected vendors to ensure deliverables meet defined processes and timelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare content creation or academia.
• 4+ years of experience leading a specific therapeutic area (TA).
• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a medical degree.
• Excellent fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of Good Publication Practices (GPP).
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
