Expert Post War Art & Prints

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and curate artworks across German, Austrian and Swiss Post War Art & Prints
• Assess a high volume of submissions to maintain quality and accuracy in selection
• Write expert lot descriptions, set estimates and recommend reserve prices
• Build and convert a pipeline of sellers through meetings and commercial guidance
• Partner with Account Managers to design single-seller auctions and growth strategies
• Represent Catawiki at fairs and industry events to secure high-quality consignments
• Develop relationships with galleries, dealers, collectors and institutions

Requirements

• Proven expertise in German, Austrian and Swiss Post War Art & Prints
• Experience in gallery management, auction houses or art dealing
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to convert leads
• Established network within German-speaking art markets
• Fluency in German and English
