About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain automated assembly equipment, including pick-and-place machines and wafer processing tools
  • Execute advanced assembly techniques such as micro-assembly, die bonding, wire bonding, and encapsulation
  • Compile and maintain accurate production logs, test results, and reports using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Excel
  • Interpret technical documentation including blueprints, schematics, and Work Instructions (WI)
  • Perform visual inspections of components using microscopes to ensure high quality standards
  • Debug and troubleshoot failed electronic components and assemblies using specialized test equipment

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of direct experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a high-tech assembly environment
  • Extensive knowledge of assembly machinery (e.g., wire bonders, die attach machines)
  • Proficiency in cleanroom protocols (ISO Class 1-8) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) prevention
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret technical schematics
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma principles
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds and perform prolonged standing or walking
  • Ability to obtain NCIC background clearance and Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) authorization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience guiding, training, or mentoring new team members, apprentices, or trainees
  • Advanced experience with specific Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
