Expert Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute field service activities at customer sites, including troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and manage parts inventory
• Anticipate and correct safety issues regarding both company and customer-owned equipment
• Work independently with little to no supervision to lead, coach, and guide junior technicians
• Maintain a safe working environment and culture while taking care of company property
• Interface directly with customers to solve problems and provide high-quality service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 7 years of technical work experience
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, or diesel systems
• Clean driving record and ability to perform daily local travel
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card
• Ability to obtain customer clearances such as TWIC or DISA
• Capability of obtaining a CDL Class A or B with applicable endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical military background
• Technical certification, degree, or industry-specific licenses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices
