Expert Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI/ML solutions, from opportunity identification and technical strategy through deployment and productionization.
• Drive the design and implementation of advanced AI systems including Generative AI, agentic AI workflows, NLP, and computer vision.
• Architect scalable, production-ready AI platforms leveraging MLOps best practices such as CI/CD, model governance, and automated retraining pipelines.
• Translate complex business and engineering problems into mathematical, statistical, and AI-driven solutions with measurable impact.
• Partner with business stakeholders and senior leadership to define AI strategy and align investments with enterprise objectives.
• Mentor and guide data scientists and AI practitioners by promoting best practices in applied AI and software engineering.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of industry experience developing, deploying, and scaling enterprise-grade AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Deep practical experience with modern AI/ML frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Strong programming expertise in Python and experience with modern software engineering practices (APIs, testing, Git, Agile).
• Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure or Databricks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying AI solutions within the energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, or supply chain domains.
• Familiarity with modern GenAI ecosystems including vector databases, RAG, and foundation model fine-tuning.
• Experience with scientific computing, optimization algorithms, and physics-based modeling.
• Track record of mentoring technical teams and driving enterprise-wide AI adoption.
