Expert Configuration Manager for Digital Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Engineering projects and contribute to the evolution of capabilities and roadmaps
• Act as a subject matter expert for engineering methods, data models, workflows, and best practices
• Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders to align business requirements with digital solutions
• Drive the implementation of Digital Engineering solutions, including methods, processes, data structures, and tooling
• Support pilots, rollouts, and user adoption through coaching, knowledge transfer, and training
• Analyze engineering workflows to improve efficiency, quality, traceability, and digital maturity
• Define and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of Digital Engineering solutions

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline
• Comprehensive experience in Digital Engineering, Engineering Methods & Tools, PLM, Systems Engineering, or Engineering Process Management
• Experience with engineering toolchains such as Windchill, Siemens NX, Xpedition, Jira, or Confluence
• Understanding of engineering data structures, product configurations, change management, and engineering workflows
• Proven track record of driving process improvements, rollouts, or digitalization initiatives
• Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable digital solutions
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset in complex engineering environments
