Expert 3D C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable 3D CAM software and automated CAD/CAM systems for medical device mass production
• Define and own technical products and features, including vision and requirements
• Prototype solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and assist biomechanical engineers
• Develop software solutions for 3D Printing, Laser Marking, and Laser Trimming
• Draft high-level technical architecture for new products and features
• Research emerging technologies and implement them into production
• Mentor junior and mid-level teammates
• Collaborate with manufacturing, process engineering, and product management teams

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or a similar field
• 12+ years of professional experience in C++ software development
• 5+ years of experience in CAD/CAM systems or 3D computational geometry
• Strong expertise in numerical mathematics, linear algebra, analytical geometry, and statistics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to present findings effectively
• Proven ability to collaborate with developers and internal customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C++17
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, additional programming languages as required by the role
