Experienced Water and Wastewater Designer

Responsibilities

• Work with water and wastewater (VA) pipeline systems, including pump stations and distribution facilities
• Perform preliminary studies, system documentation, and detailed design
• Produce construction drawings and provide support during the construction phase
• Potential to work on strategic assignments such as stormwater investigations, VA plans, and legal/taxation matters
• Collaborate with consultants nationally and work on projects locally and regionally

Requirements

• At least 6 years of work experience as a designer within the water and wastewater (VA) field
• Ability to lead less experienced designers as a technical lead
• Relevant technical education or equivalent industry experience
• Ability to participate in technical discussions and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel for assignments
